Some Young and the Restless couples are hogging all the spotlight while others are left to gather dust in the background. Sure, we love Victor and Nikki’s decades-long devotion, and the rollercoaster that is Adam and Chelsea keeps us hooked. But what about the underdogs? Kevin and Chloe, Devon and Abby, and Michael and Lauren deserve way more action than a quick coffee shop cameo every few weeks. It’s time Genoa City made room for more love stories, because let’s face it—we’re starved for romance!

Quirky Chaos Meets Sizzling Chemistry

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) relationship has always been a delicious mix of mischief and passion. These two are at their best when they’re scheming, saving each other from disaster, or turning ordinary moments into laugh-out-loud escapades. Right now, they pop up for random comic relief or to be background parents, but there’s so much more potential here.

Why not give them a front-burner storyline where Chloe’s big fashion ambitions create chaos for Kevin? Or let’s see Kevin’s tech skills land him in dangerous territory, forcing Chloe to save him in her own unpredictable way. Genoa City needs a dose of their eccentric but electric energy.

The Calm Before the Storm?

Devon (Bryon James) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) may seem like the picture of domestic bliss, but we know Y&R doesn’t let happiness last forever. These two have barely scratched the surface of their chemistry. Where’s the tension? Where’s the drama?

Maybe Abby struggles with co-parenting while Devon faces temptation from a beautiful new employee at Chancellor-Winters. Or Abby could decide she wants another baby, while Devon’s not ready for round two. Give us something to watch! Their love story is too new and too juicy to relegate to occasional family scenes.

Genoa City’s Sexiest Power Couple

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) are the ultimate Y&R power couple – and they still have that spark. Lauren’s fiery personality paired with Michael’s dry wit makes them endlessly watchable, yet lately they’re treated like furniture in Crimson Lights.

These two deserve a meaty, front-and-center plot. Bring back some corporate espionage at Fenmore’s, or a legal scandal that puts Michael’s career in jeopardy. Heck, give us a steamy afternoon scene and remind fans why they’re still one of the show’s most iconic pairings.

It’s Time To Turn Up The Heat

Y&R thrives on love stories, but it’s time to share the wealth. We’re not asking for Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to step aside forever, but there’s plenty of room on the canvas for Kevin & Chloe’s zany antics, Devon & Abby’s growing pains, and Michael & Lauren’s sophisticated drama. Give us romance, give us conflict, and give these couples their front-burner moment already!
