Christian, Christian, Who Should Get Christian on The Young and the Restless?

Christian’s custody is being contested on The Young and the Restless. The judge wasn’t thrilled by either of the daddy candidates, so he declined to declare either Adam or Nick winners.

Instead, he grossly overstepped his jurisdiction and ordered Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) to find a relative to care for the boy, while the judge kept thinking about it. Adam chose Sharon (Sharon Case). Nick went with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Victoria won, and Christian went home with her.

But this is only a short-term solution. Who should raise Christian for the long haul? Here’s what over 19,000 viewers want to see happen:

Daddy Dearest
Unlike the judge (Joseph C. Phillips), 87% of the audience had no trouble deciding that Christian should stay with Nick. He’s the one the little boy calls Dad, he’s the only one he remembers living with.

Fans, of course, still recall his first year with Sharon and Dylan (Steve Burton). But you still feel Nick is the one who will be best for the child. Does anyone remember what’s best for the child?

Uncle Adam
Only 6% believe blood is thicker than…less thick blood and voted for Adam to get his son back. But, when even Victor (Eric Braeden) isn’t on your side, what chance do you really have?  Victor is all about family, and he’s Team Nick. Stick to business, Adam. It’s all you have left.

Double Mamas
A tiny 2% of the vote (each) went to Sharon and Victoria. Vicky has her hands full with Johnny and Katie… and Billy (Jason Thompson), who is breaking down in front of her eyes, and leaving the kids home alone as a result of it. The last thing they need is another kid to take care of.

Sharon already got to play Christian’s mama twice, once when she claimed him as her own baby, and the second time when she and Nick were planning to get married. She’s done, too. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
