Count CBS Daytime among the fans of Mishael Morgan. The network’s top daytime programming exec posted her thoughts on the Emmy-nominated actress’ decision to vacate her role on The Young and the Restless after a five-year run.
Angelica McDaniel, senior vice president, CBS, Daytime, tweeted that Morgan’s many talents have endeared her to not only her many fans, but also to everyone at Y&R and CBS.
Morgan made the decision to vacate her role after much consideration. In the coming weeks, viewers will see how the show handles the decision in terms of Hilary’s future.
Earlier this year, Morgan was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Hilary. (The award went to her co-star Camryn Grimes, who plays Mariah).
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
Mishael’s many talents and warm heart endeared her to millions of fans, and all of us at @YandR_CBS and @CBSDaytime. We thank her for her contributions and wish her and her family all the best! https://t.co/73pdEGGd1f
