Catherine Bach Returns To The Young and the Restless….Or Does She?

Chelsea’s con-woman mama is coming back to The Young and the Restless — or so it appears. A social media post tipped off the casting news, but then it was taken down. Hmm…

SoapCentral.com reported that Catherine Bach, who plays Chelsea’s mother Anita, posted on Instagram that she was coming back to Y&R  and was “Gonna be raising hell very soon!!” Their story was even retweeted by TV daughter, Melissa Claire Egan, who added the emoji of hands clapping to it, indicating that she was happy with the news.

It’s possible Anita will be interacting in scenes with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) as those were the actors who reportedly appeared in Bach’s social media photo.

Or maybe those actors were just passing by when Bach snapped a selfie? Viewers will have to tune in to find out!

It’s a bit of a mystery as to why the photo was deleted. But what’s not a mystery is that the entertainment level on Y&R always rises when Anita pops up on screen. She rarely hesitates to goad her daughter Chelsea to go ahead with whatever antic will result in some money!

Bach’s known to CBS primetime viewers for her run as Daisy Duke on the hit series The Dukes Of Hazzard, which ran from 1979-85.
