The Young and the Restless has recently made mention that Adam has had dealings with the character of Chance — and Soap Hub recently caught up with the last actor who played the Chancellor heir, John Driscoll, who also happens to be celebrating a birthday Thursday.
We spoke with the soap vet, who also played Coop on Guiding Light, over Memorial Day weekend when lots of actors flew to Marco Island, Florida to help raise money for kids dealing with autism. The handsome actor took the time to speak with us about what he’s been up to since leaving daytime, but also about whether he’d go back.
You can see what he has to say about his willingness to return to the role that won him the hearts of fans everywhere. After all, fans aren’t the only ones who thought Chance was a great character with a ton of potential. Driscoll enjoyed being a part of the CBS soap and especially enjoyed working with onscreen mom, Tricia Cast (Nina).
Soap Hub reached back out to Driscoll to see if the show has made contact with him about reprising the role, but as of now, they have not. It’s not clear if YR intends to bring back the Chancellor heir with a new actor in the role or it was simply a throwaway line — but watch the video above to see if Driscoll would be interested.
In the meantime, Soap Hub wishes Driscoll has the happiest of birthdays. While he is not on social media at all, he can read this article so if you want to leave him a birthday wish below, feel free to do so.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
