[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Young and the Restless star Amelia Heinle has delighted fans as Victoria Newman since 2005.
Strong-willed, independent, and half of one of the town’s most beloved super couples, she has held her own in Genoa City.
What Y&R fans may not know is that Heinle has a lengthy history in the soap world that goes back decades. Soap Shows tracked down her soapy history to share with you!
1. Loving Heinle
Heinle’s first big television role was on the ABC soap opera Loving where she played Steffy Brewster from 1993-1995.
2. Moving to The City
After a serial killer had wiped out most of Corinth (the town where Loving took place), the survivors moved over to The City, namely New York City. Heinle was chosen to make the jump to the spin-off soap where she reprised her role as Steffy from 1995-1996.
3. Heading to Pine Valley
Several years later, Heinle landed the role of Mia Saunders on All My Children from 2001-2004. As the long lost sister of Liza, she quickly became an integral member of the Pine Valley scene. AMC fans felt the loss when she left the show and planned her move to Genoa City.
4. Big Shoes to Fill
When Heinle took the role of Vicky on Y&R from Heather Tom in 2005, she knew she had big shoes to fill. Tom was a fan favorite, and Heinle had to make the role her own. However, it didn’t take long before the actress was on her feet and commanding the stage.
5. Back to Back Emmy Winner
Heinle won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in both 2014 and 2015. Playing the role Deliah’s heartbroken step mom made fans fall in love with Victoria all over again.
