10. What The “E” Stands For
Born on May 29th, 1963 in Munich, Germany, her given name is Tracey Elizabeth Bregman. The actress lived in Great Britain until she was 10 before moving to California.
9. Her Parents are Famous
Bregman is the child of composer and record producer Buddy Bregman and actress Suzanne Lloyd. Her famous father worked with some of the greatest performers of all time, including Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Bing Crosby, and Louis Armstrong. Her mother is most famous for her roles in The Twilight Zone, Bonanza, and Bourbon Street Beat.
8. She’s Divorced
Bregman married Ronald Recht in 1987. The couple had two sons, Landon and Austin. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2010 after 23 years.
7. She’s Starred in Movies
From 1981-1983, Bregman took on several film roles, including Ann in Happy Birthday to Me, Elizabeth in The Concrete Jungle, and Amy in The Funny Farm.

Long before becoming Lauren on Y&R, Bregman played Donna on Days of Our Lives. For two years. She appeared on DAYS as the daughter of Don Craig and step-daughter of Deidre Hall’s Marlena.
4. She Was On The Love Boat
Just before landing on The Young and The Restless, Bregman had a guest-starring role on The Love Boat in the role of Trish.
3. She’s a Fashionista
Bregman is as talented off-screen as she is on. Designing stunning accessories is her super power. Her work is in magazines, on the web and sold on The Shopping Channel. Her new line, Manhattan Malibu, is set to be launched soon.

The actress started her journey as Lauren Fenmore on Y&R in 1983. Between Y&R and The Bold and The Beautiful, she’s maintained that role for almost 33 years. Her first appearance on B&B was in 1992, and the character was regularly on the show until her last appearance in 2007.
