8. Her Real Last Name isn’t Collins
Jessica Collins was born on April 1st, 1971 in Schenectady, New York. Her real name is Jessica Lynn Capogna. Growing up, Jessica attended Amsterdam High School in New York. She later enrolled in London’s Royal National Theatre Studio as well as the Howard Fine Acting School in Los Angeles.

7. She Starred in “Leprechaun 4: In Space”
If you’re a cheesy sci-fi junkie and wondered where you knew her from, you may recognize her from “Leprechaun 4: In Space.” She had a lead role in the movie, starring as Dr. Tina Reeves, the ship’s biological officer. This direct to video comedy/horror movie had a small budget of just over a million dollars and was produced in 1997.

6. She’s Been Check Out by Cookie Monster
Showing her humorous side, Jessica was checked out by Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster at the 2014 Daytime Emmy Awards. Mr. Monster showed no manners as he seemed to stare down her top. Collins role as Dinah Lee Mayberry Alden on Loving was so good she was nominated for two Soap Opera Digest Awards. In 1993, she was nominated for Hottest Female Star and for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in 1994. Jessica started on the show in 1991 at age 20 and stayed until 1994.
