10. She’s The Oldest Child
Born on March 17, 1973, Amelia grew up in Pheonix Arizona and is the eldest of five children.
9. She’s Divorced
Amelia’s first marriage was to co-star Michael Weatherly. Wedded bliss only lasted from 1995-1997. They met on the set of Loving and were not only lovers in real life, but also on screen. The couple has one son together named August. Weatherly stars as Anthony on NCIS.
8. She’s Acted Opposite Peter Fonda
In 1999, Heinle landed the role of a lifetime when she was cast as Peter Fonda’s girlfriend, Adhara, in the crime thriller The Limey.
7. She’s Been in a Music Video
Heinle was one lucky lady when the band Everclear chose her to star in their video for the song I Will Buy You a New Life. The song has been a radio classic since 1997.
6. She Fell for a Soap Hunk
Love was in the air when Amelia met Thad Luckinbill (J.T) on the set of Y&R. The two married in 2007 and have been together since. They share two children together, son Thad Junior and daughter Georgia.
5. Her First Acting Job
Heinle’s her first credited performance was as Steffi Brewster in the soap Loving from 1993-1995. When Loving morphed into The City, she kept the character going until 1996.
4. Best New Actress
In 1994, Heinle won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Female Newcomer for her playing Steffi on Loving.
3. She’s Been in 6 TV Movies
A TV Movie Queen, Amelia has starred in Purgatory, The Only Living Boy in New York and Sally Hemings: An American Scandal, just to name a few.
2. Back-to-Back Emmy Winner
In 2014 and 2015, Heinle took home the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Her amazing portrayal as Delia’s grieving step-mother and wife of heartbroken Billy earned her those trophies.

Aside from her feature role on the soap Loving, All My Children may also recognize Heinle from her role as Mia from 2001-2004. The part drew her some serious attention with the daytime crowd and made her the perfect choice to take over the character of Victoria on Y&R.
