You watched her grow up in front of your eyes on The Young and the Restless and now Camryn Grimes is celebrating something special.
That’s because she was born on January 7, 1990, in Van Nuys, California, which means that Grimes is turning 29 years old — for the first time!
The actress first joined Y&R at age 6 when she created the role of Mariah’s twin, Cassie. In 2005, Cassie was killed from her injuries she sustained in a tragic car accident. Grimes returned a few times as Ghost Cassie until she rejoined the show has Mariah in 2014.
She made quite a splash and was nominated four times for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Actress category. She won the coveted statue in 2000 and became the youngest winner ever in the category.
But she wasn’t done. In 2018, Grimes won once again but this time in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.
The talented young actress attended the Lee Strasberg Film and Theater Institute in New York City and appeared Off-Broadway in As You Like It.
She appeared in the film Swordfish, as well as TV shows like JAG, Medium, ER, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Animal Kingdom.
