The Young and the Restless

Impossible! Or Not? Could Victor and Jack Be BROTHERS on The Young and the Restless?

The Young and the Restless (YR) shocked fans last week when Dina revealed herself to be an even more horrible person than previously thought.

First, she she abandoned her three children without a second thought to flutter about Europe, marry another rich man, and run a company with her smarmy stepson.

She later returned to GC and destroyed Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) life – and psyche – by telling Ashley that her beloved John wasn’t her biological father, some drunk tennis bum named Brent Davis was.

And now, she’s dropped another bombshell. Hey, remember Jack (Peter Bergman)? The son who, in her quickly deteriorating mental state Dina keeps mistaking for John so we presume there’s a resemblance? Well, John isn’t Jack’s biological father, either!

Who is? Oh, some gorgeous, charming guy from the country club that she’ll never forget. Except, right now, she can’t quite remember his name, sorry, Abby (Melissa Ordway). Or, if she does, it could be the wrong name./p>

Who Can It Be Now?
So who might this mystery sperm donor be? Could it be… Albert Miller (George Kennedy)?

And who might Albert Miller be?

He was Victor’s biological father, who abandoned Victor’s mother, Cora, and his younger brother, Matthew, leading a destitute Cora to place little Christian (soon to rename himself Victor) in an orphanage.

An adult Victor, along with Nick (Joshua Morrow), tracked Albert down to a Canadian nursing home. He’d become wealthy over the years, but never bothered to reach out to his wife or sons. He also wasn’t sorry about what he’d done – heck, them’s the breaks. So Victor left Albert to die. And he did.

Evidence Based
However, how do we know what Albert really did all those years? A one-night stand with a young Dina could have taken his time — or even a torrid affair.

The Albert we met wasn’t particularly charming. He might have been gorgeous once, though, and Dina may have fallen for it. If he did become rich overnight, he could have ended up at the GC country club, right?

And that would make Victor and Jack brothers! So, should it happen? (Of course it should. Victor and Jack as brothers would be GLORIOUS…maybe.)

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
