When Hilary drops her toast on The Young and the Restless (YR), it must land butter side up. There’s no doubt about it, the woman is charmed!
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) lied and manipulated while she was married to both Neil (Kristoff St. John) and his son Devon (Bryton James)… and yet Devon still decided to have a baby with her anyway.
When Lily (Christel Khalil) canceled Hilary’s insemination appointment, Hilary and Devon decided to make a baby the old-fashioned way.
Then, Devon remembered that Hilary was a bad person. But, then Hilary took a pregnancy test and it came up positive. She and Devon snarked.
She found out the pregnancy didn’t take–or at least was what science terms a chemical pregnancy–and decided on one more insemination attempt – without telling Devon.
He found her at the clinic and was telling her how now he did want to have a baby with her. But then the doctor blabbed that Hilary wasn’t pregnant. Hilary cried, and Devon decided they should go ahead with the insemination.
Does Hilary deserve to have Devon’s baby? Almost 2000 viewers made like the stork:
No Way, Baby
The first attempt didn’t take, and 91% of you are hoping the second doesn’t, either. Hilary should not be anyone’s mother. Especially not the mother of a child whose father she can’t stay on civil terms with for more than a day (or more like, night) at a time.
Hilary couldn’t stay married to Devon, how can they possibly co-parent? And then she’ll have to explain the complicated relationship with Grandpa Neil….
Why Not?
Hilary and Devon are both lunatics, and 9% of the audience believes they deserve each other. If that means also bringing a baby into their dysfunction, can’t-live-with-them, can’t-live-without-them-relationship, so be it! Hilary can have what she wants, Devon can have what he wants. Poor baby, though….
