Cast members of The Young and the Restless had a little downtime when the big party scenes were being shot and characters were making speeches, paying homage to Victor Newman. Some of them got out their cell phones and recorded what it was like hanging out together.

“THE MAN!!!” Christian Jules LeBlanc (Michael) posted on Instagram in a photo of himself, Eric Braeden (Victor), Doug Davidson (Paul), Tracey Bregman (Lauren), and Lauralee Bell (Christine). “BON ANNIVERSAIRE M. BRAEDEN!!”

LeBlanc also snapped a shot of his former leading lady and fellow Genoa City legal eagle, Christine, played by Bell. “SERVING YOU SEXY LAWYER REALNESS ALL DAY ALL THE TIME…” LeBlanc captioned Bell’s photo. “Omg,” Bell responded, “how do you get us to do these crazy poses”?

Using a little depth perception/trick photography, LeBlanc gave co-star Joshua Morrow (Nicholas) some support — kind of. “We all need a pat on the back sometimes…a teeny tiny pat on the back!” LeBlanc quipped.

LeBlanc wasn’t the only one who got out his cell phone during breaks in the action. Bell took the opportunity make sure she got a photo taken with castmates including Bregman, Bryton James (Devon), LeBlanc, Brytni Sarpy (Elena), and Davidson. “I think it’s pretty clear how much fun we all had being together to celebrate the amazing @ericbraedengudegast.”

Bregman got in on the posting action, too. “Love my @youngandrestlesscbs girls!!” She wrote the caption on a post featuring a photo of herself, Jess Walton (Jill), Sharon Case (Sharon), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), and Bell.

Victor’s TV son Mark Grossman (Adam) posted a family group shot featuring Amelia Heinle (Victoria), himself, Melissa Ordway (Abby), Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Morrow, and Hunter King (Summer). “Happy 40th to the icon- Mr. Braeden!” Grossman wrote. “A very special week at the Newman Gala paying tribute to The King #yr”.
