It’s tough to keep a bad boy (or girl) down on The Young and the Restless. And when they’re a couple – Genoa City better watch out!

Adam (Justin Hartley) is presumed dead. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is on the run with their son, Connor. Victor (Eric Braeden) has vowed to get his grandson back.

In the meantime, he practiced by suing Nick (Joshua Morrow) for custody of Christian, Adam’s other biological child, currently being raised by Nick and Sharon (Sharon Case).

If Victor were to get his hands on Connor, would that bring Chelsea back to GC – and Adam out of the woodwork? Would you like that? Almost 6,000 fans voted:

For a majority 75%, that would be the optimal outcome. Whether played by their original actors or recasts, this is a couple that’s desperately needed in Genoa City.

Victor needs a son who can fight back – dirty. Sure, Nick is getting there, but you know ol’ Vic will have another health scare, and there goes Nick again, falling for his promises to be better. Adam was smarter than that.

And as soon as Sharon finds out about Nick’s one-night stand with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), that relationship is bound to bite the dust. Nick once loved Chelsea… Adam once loved Chelsea…. Soaps were invented for these kinds of dysfunctional families!

No, Thanks, We’re Good
Nick has taken Adam’s place as Victor’s nemesis, and Chelsea never quite found her place in town, 24% of you counter.

Adam dead drives more story, with Victor being responsible for getting Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) out of the mental hospital, then helping her fake her death and spiriting her and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) out of town.

Victor needs to face the consequences of his actions, and being responsible for Adam’s death is one sin he can never wipe away.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
