Bad Is Back! Which Villain Should Return To The Young and the Restless (YR)?

You might want good for a friend, but bad is what keeps soaps humming, and The Young and the Restless (YR) is no exception.

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) can’t do all the heavy lifting on their own, and Hilary will even be gone soon. Which blast from the past bad boy or girl do almost 16,000 of you want to see back in Genoa City?

Patty Cake
She’s Jack’s (Peter Bergman) ex-wife – he’s the one who put her on the initial path to mental instability; Patty caught Jack in bed with one his models, shot him, and blacked out the incident. She’s Paul’s (Doug Davidson) sister. And she’s Sharon (Sharon Case) periodic partner in crazy.

Patty has plenty of ties to the canvas, and a majority 54% of the audience wants her back to stir up trouble. Plus, she likes cats.

Bold and Beautiful
Her plan to break up Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) on the Bold and the Beautiful (BB) failed, so isn’t it time for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) to return to her original stomping grounds, 18% of you want to know?

It would give Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) a story, and keep the rest of the cast from sleeping soundly at night.

Being Ian
Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) quasi-dad (until he tried to marry her – ick) came pretty close to getting the best of Victor. And we can never have too much of that, 15% of the fans opine. Bring back Ian (Ray Wise). He won an Emmy!

Marco! Polo!
The lowest number of votes, 11%, went to Marco. One Peter Bergman is good. Two is… unnecessary. The best part about having Marco back would be as a reminder of what Victor did.

He stole Jack’s life. He set up Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to be raped – which also led to the collapse of her and Jack’s marriage. And everyone in town seems to have forgotten….
