The Kiss Of Death? What REALLY Happens To Hilary On The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Here is something even The Young and the Restless (YR) knows not to do: Keep repeating, over and over again, how happy they are, and how nothing can ever go wrong now that they have everything they’ve ever wanted, it’s smooth sailing from now on.

Oh, Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Poor Hilary. Poor, stupid Hilary. She’s pregnant with the baby she was willing to do all sorts of underhanded things to conceive.

She and Devon (Bryton James) are back together. And, as she couldn’t stop herself from boasting to Nate (Brooks Darnell), how her show is ever so popular.

Sounds like someone is heading for a big fall.

Famous Last Words
Lily (Christel Khalil) may have played nice with Hilary over Father’s Day brunch, but she wasn’t thrilled with how Hilary spoke to Nate. It wasn’t exactly the straw that broke the camel’s back. But it didn’t help.

Hilary pushed Lily too far, prompting her ex-sister-in-law (and ex-stepdaughter, because… soaps) to lash out and go so far as to say that Hilary has no business being a mother because she is such a horrible person.

Crash
A traumatic car accident, that lands Hilary – and possibly Lily? – in the hospital is no case of bumps and bruises. Shauna (Camryn Hamm) is in tears when she rushes over to tell Neil (Kristoff St. John).

Does Hilary lose the baby? Is she conscious? Could it be a worse-case scenario? Could Hilary be dead?

With Mishael Morgan leaving the show, and no recast announced, that’s definitely a possibility.

But then why all the flirtatious banter (c’mon, you know what constantly sniping at each other means on daytime)? If the show was setting up to kill Hilary, then why also dangle an attraction between her and Nate?

Could he somehow end up responsible for her death? And will that trigger memories of the fiancée he also couldn’t save?

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
