It’s no secret that Abby feels deeply dissatisfied with her marriage on The Young and the Restless. Even during their special night out for just the two of them, Stitch had to leave early to go to the hospital, which doesn’t bode well for the struggling couple.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Stitch (Sean Carrigan) shared a moment last year, and as strange as it is, there seems to be something brewing between the mother-in-law and son-in-law. Soap Hub asked if you think Ashley and Stitch might get together if Abby (Melissa Ordway) ends her marriage.

Love is Blind
More than 7,200 of you voted, and 62% of you believe love is blind. Sure, you know it’s a little strange for a mother-in-law and a son-in-law to develop a relationship, but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants.

You know things between Abby and Stitch haven’t been right for a while and you’d like to see Abby happy with somebody closer to her own age in the near future. Plus, it’s been ages since Ashley had her own love interest in Genoa City, and you’d like to see where this thing goes with the good doctor.

No Dr. Strange Love
However, 30% of you say a big ol’ nope to the idea of Ashley and Stitch together if he and Abby’s marriage continues to go south. Sure, you know they seem to have a connection, but the fact that he married her daughter just makes it too strange for them to get together.

In fact, you may hold a beacon of hope that Abby and Stitch go ahead and work things out between them. Perhaps some communication will fix their somewhat minor issues.

Nothing’s Impossible
Finally, 8% of you believe nothing’s impossible in soap world. You could see this going either way, so you’re just not totally sure how things will end up in the Ashley, Abby, and Stitch triangle.
