Arturo No More: Jason Canela OUT At The Young and the Restless

The Young and the Restless is seeing its first Rosales casualty under the soap’s new writing and producing regime.

Arturo, the first member of the clan introduced to the Genoa City scene, will be no more as actor Jason Canela has tweeted his farewell to the soap, announcing his exit.

“I feel blessed to have been a part of something so special! I appreciate each and every single person that makes up part of the YR family,” he said. Our makeup team, our crew, our security! Without them there is nothing. The team behind the camera is what makes it all worth it.”

He added in a posted statement:

“It’s time to turn the page and see what beautiful stories I am blessed enough to be a part of next.”

This week, Arturo confesses to Abby that he slept with Mia last month and she not only breaks off their engagement, but gets her revenge.

Does this mean Arturo will just leave town or will something worse happen to him with Fatal Attraction Mia around?

There’s no word on whether any other member of the Rosales family will exit, but considering Kyle and Lola’s immense popularity, we can definitely see Sasha Calle staying.
