Team Cane or Team Juliet? The Young and the Restless Fans Decide

It’s a tough call to make on The Young and the Restless (YR). Both Cane and Juliet have done some despicable things lately, to each other and to other people.

Now Juliet is suing Brash and Sassy for sexual harassment, while Cane is denying they even slept together, much less that he forced her to do it in exchange for a job.

They’re both lying, which means they are both less than sympathetic. But which character do viewers find more root-able? Here’s what almost 6000 had to say!

(P)raising Cane
Cane (Daniel Goddard) came to Genoa City pretending to be the real Phillip – the baby Kay (Jeanne Cooper) supposedly switched Jill’s (Jess Walton) newborn for.

He was actually in cahoots with the real Phillip (Thom Bierdz), who had faked his own death and caused his family years of heartache – not unlike what Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is doing now to hers.

So we knew Cane wasn’t on the up and up. And that was even before we met his felonious family.

Most recently, Cane set Billy (Jason Thompson) up to make it look like the reformed addict was back to gambling – and with guys hired by Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to promote her company.

So he’s still pretty skuzzy. And yet, 56% of you still want him to come out on top of the Juliet debacle. Maybe it’s because he didn’t actually do what he’s accused of.

Or maybe it’s just because he’s been on the canvas longer.

All’s Fair
Cane may not have done what Juliet (Laur Allen) charged him with, but, the fact of the matter is, she did lose her job because of his machinations – she just doesn’t know it.

Cane set up Billy, but Juliet is the one who got fired. That’s why 43% of the audience wants to see Juliet win – and Cane lose.

And then grovel.

And then get found out.

And then have Lily (Christel Khalil) dump him.
