Another Adam Available? Would You Allow a Recast on The Young and the Restless?

It’s that time again on The Young and the Restless! The regular speculation about whether Adam might be returning to Genoa City, and who should play him?

There have been a few Adams: Chris Engan, Michael Muhney, and Justin Hartley. The latter is busy on This Is Us.

Michael Muhney left under mysterious – and possibly non-disclosure agreement worthy – circumstances, and Engan… is long forgotten. So would you be open to Adam v. 4? Over 12,000 fans cast their ballots.

Everything Old Is New Again
Sure, we’ll take a new Adam, 37% of you agree calmly. As long as he’s the old Adam. You would like Michael Muhney back. He was the darkest, most Victor-like Adam, the one who could do very bad things while remaining very, very charming.

Genoa City needs someone like that on the canvas to stir things up. Victor – and Nick (Joshua Morrow) – won’t know what hit them when Adam comes back and goes after everything he believes to be his… including Connor!

Just Justin
The only Adam that 33% of the audience is open to, is the latest version, Justin Hartley. He’s the one you fell in love with, the romantic, vulnerable, yet ruthless when he needed to be one.

Hartley brought something special to the role that neither of the previous two men could. He’s your only choice.

We Know Him From Adam
And then there are the 28% who will take anyone as Adam, just as long as all the story points that were dropped when he “died” are picked up again.

Connor is the most important piece, of course, but it will be interesting to see how Adam will choose sides between Nick and Victor. Will he be there for Sharon (Sharon Case), when she learns about Nick and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)? Payback for Sage, maybe….?
