The Young and the Restless is no stranger to Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome (SORAS). Both Victoria and Nick went away to boarding school and returned all grown up.

The Young and the Restless Polling

So did their half-sister, Abby, and so did Victoria’s son, Reed. So who should be the All Grown Up treatment next? Almost 2000 voters shared their wishes with us:

Have Faith

She’s growing up nicely on the air, but 38% of you are really eager for Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to turn into the troublemaker a girl who worships at the shrine of Victor (Eric Braeden) was always meant to be.

And the Faith you’ve known since elementary school is just too darn sweet to turn into a hellion. The worst thing she did recently was pretend to be asleep when Sharon (Sharon Case) went in for cancer surgery. We need more.

The Big Con

A slightly smaller 36% of The Young and the Restless fans want to see Connor (Judah Mackey) grow through a growth spurt – and for the same reasons. He went through a brief Devil Seed phase – remember locking Christian in a dark garage? But he was still so little and cute, it was still possible. to feel sorry for him. Make him a teen, make him take after his parents, and make him wreak hell!

Here’s Johnny

With Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) suddenly remembering that she’s Johnny’s biological mother and disparaging how Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are raising her son, now is the perfect time to age Johnny, 17% of the fans suggest. Let Johnny find out. And watch the Adam/Victoria feud get even hotter!

Welcome, Kat

Only 7% want to see an older Katie. She is Victor and Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) biological granddaughter and Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) namesake. Can you imagine what kind of trouble she can bring to her family? Second generation stripper, anyone? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
