Alec Mapa Headed to The Young and the Restless (YR)

The Young and the Restless (YR) will soon see an exciting new character hit the scene in Genoa City! Primetime star Alec Mapa will portray the role of Anthony.

According to a Soap Central report, Anthony is a hotel clerk. The rumor is, he’ll play a foil to Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) over the top antics on her upcoming trip to California.

Could he finally be the person to knock her GZ Buzzness down a peg or two? Probably not, but fans can always hope.

The absolutely fabulous Mapa, who appeared on primetime favorites Two Broke Girls, Ugly Betty, Devious Maids and Desperate Housewives, is set to make his Y&R debut on May 16 for one day only, so be sure to tune in to see him in action. Perhaps if it goes well, he’ll be back on the daytime drama!
