Before any The Young and the Restless characters can get to the fun part of Biology, they first need to take a chemistry test.

This week’s eager pupil? Cane (Daniel Goddard). We asked which leading lady Cane currently has the most chemistry with. Here’s what over 5000 viewers answered:

Gilding the Lily
There’s a reason Cane is married to Lily (Christel Khalil) insist 85% of you, and that’s because they have tons of chemistry to spare. Forget being the parents of two young kids, Cane and Lily are also a hot, sexy couple.

She’s an in-demand model and he’s an international businessman! They get naked in the middle of the afternoon (hopefully while the kids are at school or out with the nanny). In fact, Cane and Lily are the poster children for how and why marriage doesn’t have to take the romance – or chemistry – out of a couple.

Wherefore Art Thou?
Then again, you’ve seen Lily in one pair of sheer underwear, you’ve seen them all. And with Cane all but throwing a hissy-fit every time Lily gets into Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) orbit, some of that thrill must be wearing off.

Juliet (Laur Allen), on the other hand, is beautiful, brainy, skilled at the art of negotiation – and still a challenge for Cane. This is the hot part of any relationship, 14% of fans have decided, this is where you see real chemistry. Cane should ditch home for work – and get busy!

None of the Above
It may be a tiny fraction, but 1% of the audience doesn’t see sparks with either Lily or Juliet. They’d like to see Cane go in a completely different direction. Ashley (Eileen Davidson), maybe? Victoria (Amelia Heinle), to keep the office romance vibe going.

Or, if Jill (Jess Walton) really wants to stick it to Colin (Tristan Rogers), she might consider turning her attentions towards his son. Just ignore the part where, for a while, Jill thought Cane was her son, too.

If the obvious age difference between him and her actual son, Phillip, back then didn’t make a blip on her radar, why should this?
