10 Fun Facts About The Young and the Restless’s Alyvia Alyn Lind

At just 9 years old, The Young and the Restless star Alyvia Alyn Lind is taking the world by storm. She’s fast becoming a household name in and out of the daytime world.

1. Born To Be A Star
As a native of Los Angeles, it’s no surprise a cutie like Lind would go into acting. She grew up right in the thick of things and began performing when she was merely five.

2. Her Mother Is Famous
Lind comes by her acting talent honestly. Her mother, Barbara Alyn Wood, began in show business in 1990. Since then, she’s had roles in over 30 television shows and 15 movies!

3. Alyvia’s Sisters Are Stars Too!
Her siblings also act. Eldest sister Natalie began her career with a walk on role on One Tree, and middle sister Emily has multiple film roles under her belt too!

4. Y&R Launched Her Career
Lind landed the role of a lifetime when she became Faith on The Young and the Restless, daughter of longtime on-again/off-again supercouple Sharon and Nick.

5. A Nickelodeon Sensation!
From 2012-2014 Lind had double actingduty. Not only did she play Faith on Y&R but she was starred as Charlotte on Nickelodeon’s series See Dad Run.

6. She and Justin Hartley Go Way Back!
Lind was already familiar with Y&R fan favorite Justin Hartley when he arrived on the CBS set. The two worked together on the show Revenge.

Lind may be young but she’s already proving to be a versatile actress. Outside of her primetime and film roles, she’s also quite the star on HBO as well. Lind plays Grace on the critically acclaimed show Transparent and Jenny Masters on Masters of Sex.

In 2015, Lind was handpicked to play the part of a young Dolly Parton in the biopic Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors. The TV film was a hit, and the cast came back together for the 2016 sequel Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

9. Her Newest Movie Is Coming Soon!
Winning on roles in Shangri-La Suites, Mocking Bird, Dark Skies, and Blended have certainly put Lind on the map. Her next film, made-for-TV movie Untitled Miami Project is set to debut later this year!
