Will Beth’s Death End Hope and Liam’s Marriage On The Bold and the Beautiful?

Liam went back and forth quite a bit in 2018 as to whether or not he’d stay with Steffy or move on with Hope on The Bold and the Beautiful.

We can’t help but think that Hope being pregnant helped tip the scales in her favor even though Liam is quite committed to Kelly, his daughter with Steffy.

Now that Hope (Annika Noelle) has tragically (and allegedly) lost her baby in childbirth, might Liam (Scott Clifton) divorce her and return to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to give Kelly a mother and father living under the same roof?

While Liam would come off very wishy-washy if he did this, there’s also a pragmatic element to it. Soap Hub asked B&B fans to weigh in whether or not they think Liam and Hope’s marriage will last.

The End Is Near
The majority of you, 64%, feel that yep, Liam and Hope’s marriage is going to end. Characters get divorced on soaps, including B&B, with great frequency.

How many times have Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) split? (Granted, they find their way back to one another, eventually.)

Sorry, Hope, but these are the B&B breaks. Brooke’s tearfully stood by and watched Ridge move on to other women, and now Hope may have to watch that, too.

Made To Last
The rest of you, 36%, feel that Hope and Liam’s marriage will survive. If a baby were the only deciding factor, then Liam could have just as easily stayed with Steffy as they have a child together, too.

Liam may vacillate in his love life, but to leave Hope now when she’s grieving their daughter would make him lose all credibility in the eyes of both other characters on the show and in the minds and hearts of many viewers.

Additionally, Steffy may not even want Liam back. She’s built a strong life for herself since splitting with Liam, and she may feel she no longer needs him even if he wanted to reunite with her.
