Whose Portrait Should Hang Over the Fireplace on The Bold and the Beautiful?

The Bold and the Beautiful’s landmark set is the Forrester mansion living room. For years, one of three portraits has hung over the fireplace mantel: Stephanie Forrester, Maya Avant Forrester, and Quinn Fuller Forrester. As Quinn may be losing her place in Eric’s life, her portrait may be replaced by someone else’s!

Who’s image should hang in the place of honor in the Forrester living room? Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans. Read on to see the results!

King Eric

Eric (John McCook) came in first with a little over 46% of your vote. It’d make sense for Eric’s portrait to hang over the fireplace. It’s his house, after all. And if Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) picture comes down, then someone else’s should go up.

Eric’s smart enough to not rush into another relationship and if he does, he probably won’t make a solid commitment to where his new love interest will get the prime placement in his family home.

Queen Stephanie

One of Eric’s wives also scored a bit over 46% of your vote. While Eric came in first, it was the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery) who came in second place. Her portrait was positioned over the fireplace the day of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) most recent wedding in the mansion.

Brooke was even seen having a brief conversation with her late mother-in-law. Stephanie’s occasionally referred to on the show so having a visual of her only makes sense. Replacing Quinn’s picture with Stephanie’s would send her a clear message that Eric has truly moved on from their union.

Status Quinn

The remaining votes, less than 7%, went to Quinn. You feel that her portrait should remain there. First, there’s the possibility that Eric and Quinn will work things out. Then, it’d be natural for her portrait to remain exactly where it is. If they don’t, who’s to say that Quinn’s portrait won’t stay there anyway?

If she and Eric split, perhaps Quinn will get ownership of the Forrester mansion in a divorce settlement? But, for now, the couple is still together even though Eric is deeply disappointed in Quinn because of her role in breaking up Ridge and Brooke. Whose portrait will hang in the Forrester mansion?
