The men of The Bold and the Beautiful have romanced women, created high fashion, and protected their families for over three decades! Which handsome hunk has captured your heart? Soap Hub asked BB fans to select their all-time favorite BB hero!
The Bold and the Beautiful Polling
Here are the poll results. How’d your choice do compared to the rest of the candidates? Read on to find out!
The Forrester Patriarch
John McCook’s Eric came in first, earning an impressive 57% of your votes! Eric debuted in the show’s first episode and has been a cast member for BB’s entire run. While another actor hired for the role might have been regulated to merely being a stern patriarch, the BB writers couldn’t help but thrust McCook’s Eric into leading man storylines. He romanced Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), marrying her twice, and today is reunited with his latest wife, Quinn (Rena Sofer).
Romantic Ridge
Thorsten Kaye’s Ridge came in second with 15% of your vote. As one half of BB’s most romantic duo, Ridge can always be counted on to return to Brooke. The couple hit some roadblocks last year after Ridge saw a video of Bill (Don Diamont) and Brooke kissing. Then, Ridge found himself unexpectedly wed to Shauna (Denise Richards). The union was illegitimate, but Ridge’s feelings for Brooke are the real deal!
Count On Dollar Bill
Diamont’s Bill earned over 13% of your vote. The media mogul charges through life, going after what he wants, which is compelling, but it’s his love for Katie (Heather Tom) and their son Will (Finnegan George) that humanizes Bill, making him a fan favorite.
Winning Wyatt
Darin Brooks’ Wyatt came in fourth place with 7% of your vote. Given that he’s been on BB about a third of its run, that’s an impressive number. Wyatt showed his heroic side when he demanded that Sally (Courtney Hope), at her lowest point, tell him where a missing Flo (Katrina Bowden) was. He burst into Sally’s apartment and found his true love tied to Sally’s radiator. Now, that‘s a hero!
A Thorne By Any Other Name
Thorne, who has been played by four different actors, received 5% of your vote. Winsor Harmon played the part the longest. Despite all the loss Thorne has endured — wives Macy (Bobbie Eakes) and Darla (Schae Harrison) died, and his daughter Aly (Ashlynn Pearce) was killed — he’s still open to finding love.
Liam The Lover
This poll came at a bad time for Scott Clifton’s Liam, whom we’re guessing would have ranked much higher if it were asked at a different point in the character’s history. He only got a little under 3% of the vote. Once again, he’s been caught between the two loves of his life — Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and his wife Hope (Annika Noelle). Liam truly did think his marriage was over when he fell into bed with Steffy, so, right now, this hero is going to have to redeem himself. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
