Which Soap Star's Son Was 'Spoiled Rotten' By Sandra Bullock? Raw

It’s not exactly uncommon for soap stars to rub elbows with the Hollywood elite. And sometimes, they can even grow close to the megastars – or megastars in training.

Who Is The Soap Star In Question?

All of these actresses are either one-time stars of long-gone daytime TV programs – like One Life to Live and Ryan’s Hope – or are currently on or alums of one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless. However, only one of them can claim that future Oscar winner Sandra Bullock babysat their child.

But who can that actor be? Is Betty White (ex-Anne Douglas, BB), Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora Hanen Gannon Buchanan, OLTL/GH), Cali Timmins (ex-Maggie Shelby, RH), or Judith Chapman (Gloria Fisher Baldwin Abbott, YR)?

Betty White

Though a stepmother to three, White never had children of her own, so she didn’t seek out Bullock’s assistance. She did, however, delight the actress and audiences alike with her delightfully kooky portrayal of Grandma Annie Paxton in the romantic comedy The Proposal – which still remains one of Bullock’s most successful films.

Cali Timmins

Though Timmins never worked alongside Bullock, nor sought out her baby-minding services for her two kids with husband and fellow RH alum Geoff Pierson (ex-Frank Ryan), she did spend her early career starring in several Canadian TV soap operas – the very genre that Bullock parodied in a skit with late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon.

Judith Chapman

Chapman was a featured player in the 1993 adventure film Fire on the Amazon, Bullock’s ninth acting endeavor. But despite their co-star status, Chapman didn’t need Bullock’s help with a young one.

Hillary B. Smith

Smith was one of Bullock’s many co-stars in the romantic comedy Love Potion No. 9 back in 1992. However, the women bonded during the time spent on location in Georgia, and Bullock wound up frequently watching Smith’s adorable little boy, who at one time played Smith’s onscreen son Adam when she was Margo on As the World Turns.

So, if you guessed that perhaps the daytime star in question was Hillary B. Smith – who is also a BB (ex-Dr. Stacy Barton) and The Doctors (ex-Kit) alum – then you were absolutely correct!
