What’s In Tom’s Backpack that Hollis Found in the July 10 Bold and the Beautiful?

In the July 10 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we headed back to Il Giardino. The most loyal customer and his new family ate outside on the patio. Yes, Dollar Bill, Luna, and Poppy lunched as a family at the restaurant that just saw one of its employees keel over from a drug overdose. Hollis, the Hot Bartender, looked really affected by Tom’s death. As a result, a discovery was made.

Emphatic Declarations

Before we get to the backpack, let’s touch on Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Again, this seemed like a man who wouldn’t cheat on his wife in a million years.

So, while Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang — who talks about Brooke being back at Forrester) worried about Hope turning into her because of her daughter’s feelings for Finn, the good doctor made a declaration to his wife. Finn told Steffy that he’d heard everything that she had said to him since Sheila’s “resurrection.”

Furthermore, he wanted her to know that he’s all about the life they share and that she’s a priority, nobody else. He apologized, shed tears, and kissed her in swoon-worthy fashion, three perfect things that could get Finn off the hook with Steffy. Knowing the co-CEO, however, he’ll have to show and not just tell. She’ll need real-life examples of him spurning Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) from afar. He’ll also need to stay away from Hope.

What’s in the Backpack?

Okay, here we go. Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) truly felt the loss of their friend and fellow Il Giardino employee, Tom (Clint Howard). They couldn’t stop talking about him. Hollis, the Bartender, even knocked over a customer’s margarita. Love that B&B utilized Hollis, by the way. Just before he entered the supply room, Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) turned into an overprotective ogre to steer the bartender away from a friendly Luna. After all, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) was her boyfriend.

Hollis did take the opportunity to cool off and catch his breath in the supply room. There, he quickly discovered Tom’s backpack. If you read the teasers for the rest of the week, you’ll realize that this backpack isn’t a throwaway prop. It’s significant, and we’re about to find out what’s in it.

To paraphrase the movie Se7en, what’s in the backpack!??? Apparently, the contents of the bag are shocking. Shocking, as in a severed finger? Or shocking, like a photo album of Tom and Poppy living it up on the music festival circuit back in the ’90s? Is it something that will set a trail directly to his killer? Or back up his declaration that he’s Luna’s father?

Poppy (Romy Park), Luna (Lisa Yamada), and Bill showed that their family bond was growing. Is that whole connection about to get blown up into smithereens? What do you think is in Tom’s backpack?
