VIDEO FLASHBACK: When Thorne Shot Ridge In The Head On The Bold and the Beautiful!

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) seemed a little on edge with his brother Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) when the younger Forrester showed up at the family mansion on The Bold and the Beautiful after Thanksgiving… but there’s a good reason Ridge may be guarded around Thorne.

The two men have a history of being involved with the same woman and it dates back to the show’s early years when Ronn Moss played Ridge and Clayton Norcross portrayed Thorne. Both Ridge and Thorne fell for Caroline. Engaged duo Ridge and Caroline split after she learned of his infidelity.

Later, Caroline was date-raped and turned to Thorne for support. They married and went to live in the mansion where Ridge was eventually joined by Brooke as his live-in girlfriend.

One night, after they’d all been drinking, Ridge slipped naked into Caroline’s bed as a “prank” while Thorne was downstairs in the kitchen talking to Stephanie. Caroline and Ridge ended up having sex.

When Thorne learned of this and got looped out on pills and alcohol, he took Stephanie’s gun and shot Ridge in the head! As you can see in the video below, Stephanie helplessly witnessed the horrific incident from an upstairs bedroom.

Ridge, of course, recovered, and Stephanie initially took the blame for the shooting, claiming it was an accident. Thorne never went to jail for what he’d done, so perhaps Ridge being a bit guarded around him is understandable?
