The Bold and the Beautiful
Sally Spectra wanted to win Stephanie Forrester’s respect and friendship almost more than anything in the world on The Bold and the Beautiful… but when it came to protecting her daughter, Macy, Sally put everything else aside!
Years ago, Macy (Bobbie Eakes) and Thorne’s relationship hit the skids. Rumors of corporate espionage — with Spectra being accused of ripping off Forrester — were Thorne (then Jeff Trachta) and Macy’s biggest stumbling block.
After Macy had been dumped on one too many times, her protective mama, Sally (Darlene Conley), stormed over to Stephanie’s castle to read her the riot act. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) wasn’t going to budge and acknowledge Sally’s concerns. She was going to protect Thorne and her company from what she believed to be Sally’s manipulative ways.
Blasting Stephanie didn’t seem to do much good. Sally was irate but she wasn’t going to change Steph’s mind. After Sally communicated her frustrations, Stephanie fired back that Sally was pathetic, begging for Steph’s approval.
Next, Sally lunged at Stephanie, who stuck her foot out, tripping Sally. The red-haired diva then fell into the Forresters’ pool, and emerged not only wet but even more irate than she was before she arrived — if such a thing were possible!
Stephanie laughed but she wasn’t totally heartless. She offered to aid Sally out of the pool, but Sally didn’t want her help!
