VIDEO FLASHBACK: Ridge Discovers That Taylor Is Alive!

The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Ridge and Taylor had a happy marriage. And since happy is dull, the show’s writers spiced things up by having Taylor be kidnapped by a Moroccan Prince after she was presumed dead!

Taylor (Hunter Tylo) said it wasn’t very simple to explain what had happened to her, but she gave it a shot with Ridge (then Ronn Moss)… and so will we!

The married psychiatrist went to an overseas conference only she got mugged in an airport lounge. Then, the flight she was supposed to be on crashed and she was presumed dead.

In reality, Taylor was taken to the palace of Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) of Morocco where she recovered and regained her memories.

It took her a while to escape and get back to Los Angeles.

While all this was going on, the merry widower went ahead and married Brooke (hey, Taylor was dead, after all!) Later, Ridge was temporarily blinded so Taylor kept her identity a secret. When his vision returned, Ridge saw Taylor, who walked into the home he was sharing with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Taylor didn’t want to complicate her husband’s life so she left him to process the reality of her return — after they shared a reunion kiss!
