Macy was a fan favorite on The Bold and the Beautiful. Alas, the tragic heroine died not only once, but twice!
The first time she was believed dead Macy (Bobbie Eakes) blew up when an oil rig exploded. The real victim turned out to be a trucker who tried to help her. Years later, Macy and Thorne (then Winsor Harmon) were reunited in Italy and they returned to the United States.
Macy and Thorne’s reunion didn’t last, however. He moved onto a relationship with Darla (Schae Harrison). And Macy took up with Deacon (Sean Kanan). She landed a gig at a club, Ozzz, owned by Oscar Marone (Brian Gaskill) only he’d fallen in with some bad guys who wanted to teach him a lesson.
They rigged a chandelier that was over a stage where Macy sang. She was in her element, belting out a rendition of The Greatest Love Of All.
Oscar spied that the chandelier was about to come down on Macy’s head. He, and also Thorne, tried to rush the stage in order to save her, but both men were too late.
Sadly, Macy died a second time. But just like her first death, it occurred off-camera. There’s a theory that Macy is alive somewhere in Europe being watched over by her protective mama Sally (the late great Darlene Conley).
Perhaps someday, Macy will be boldly resurrected a second time and share her beautiful music on B&B once more!
