Eric and Stephanie founded Forrester Creations and ran the company for years, slowly bringing their children into the family business on The Bold and the Beautiful. Interlopers were quite rare — that is until Brooke Logan came along!
After Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) discovered BeLieF, a solution that made fabric wrinkle-free, she had the leverage to ask for the moon in order to give her former family the rights to her discovery, which was a financial windfall for them.
But Brooke didn’t ask for the moon — she had an even bigger piece of cheese in mind, namely 51% of Forrester Creations! With her lawyer Connor (who just happened to be Ridge’s high school rival) on her side, Brooke laid out her demands to the Forresters.
Stephanie (Susan Flannery) tried to appeal to Brooke wanting to get even with her in particular by offering Brooke her Forrester stock. While that would have hurt Stephanie deeply, Brooke felt that negotiating for 51% was a better deal than taking a guarantee of Steph’s 30%.
Viewers had never seen Brooke this confident before! She’d been Stephanie’s punching bag for years. Ridge rejected Brooke not once, but twice when he married Caroline and then Taylor.
“This is the beginning of a whole new Forrester!” Brooke declared. “Starting today, Forrester Creations is mine!”
Brooke knew that the Forresters wouldn’t deal with her professionally so she had one last card up her sleeve. She informed Eric, Stephanie, Ridge, and Thorne that in order to deal with her they’d have to go through a liaison — Sheila, Eric’s then-wife, who didn’t have many friends among the Forresters either!
