Actress Tracey Bregman (Lauren, The Young and the Restless) and her family lost a beloved member last night, and the world lost an incredible treasure.
The talented internationally-known producer, director, writer, composer, conductor, arranger, and musical director Buddy Bregman passed away on January 8, 2017 after a battle with Alzheimer’s.
Since the 1950s, Bregman’s name was linked with the biggest names in the business, including Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, and Frank Sinatra, to name just a few.
An accomplished musician, Buddy Bregman appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful in 1997 as a piano player.
Tracey Bregman announced the sad news on her Instagram last night after posting a lovely photo featuring three generations of family. Featured in her post is a lovely video showing her dad throughout his storied career and life.
Our thoughts are with the Bregman family and friends during this difficult time of loss. We wish them peace and joy as they remember and celebrate his life.
