Thomas’s Turnaround: What’s Next for The Bold and the Beautiful Hero?

He’s gone from obsessive, manipulative, and manic to kind, caring, and heroic. Over the last year on The Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas Forrester has undergone a tremendous turnaround; literally transforming into a new and improved character — a bona fide good guy. So what’s next for this hero? Here are three scenarios the soap could explore.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Tables Turned

After years of wreaking havoc and making people like Liam Spencer (Scott and Clifton) and Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) lives hell, it might be time for the tables to turn on Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). How about if someone emerges who’s suddenly a threat to him? The mystery person could linger in the background and begin sending Thomas cryptic messages, before upping the ante and arranging some near-miss accidents for him.

As Thomas tries to figure out who his stalker is and put an end to the madness, a totally unexpected person steps up to help him and uncover the truth: Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). The pair’s teamwork would lead to a new understanding between the stepmother and stepson, who have been on opposite sides for years.

B&B: Caroline Comeback?

Is it time for Caroline to return from the dead? Actress Linsey Godfrey, who originated the Bold and the Beautiful role, left Days of our Lives as Sarah Horton earlier this year. So she’s totally available.

Bringing her back would unleash all kinds of drama for Thomas, who once loved her deeply; not to mention Hope, who’s been functioning as Douglas’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) mother for years. Plus, imagine the story that could play out for the little boy torn between two moms – the one he now knows and loves and one he can barely remember.

Bold and Beautiful: A New Love

Thomas has long had a passion for sweet blondes. Hello, Hope. As fate would have it, there’s another one on the canvas. And, coincidentally, she’s a Logan, too: Flo (Katrina Bowden). Thomas and Flo are both currently employed at Forrester Creations. Perhaps they could start working together more closely and develop a special friendship along the way.

Even though Flo is currently engaged to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), she could find herself drawn to Thomas and vice versa. The question is, would Flo cross the line and explore her feelings for another man? And would Thomas react if he’s given the smallest dose of encouragement, knowing how badly he’s fared in triangles with Logan women in the past?
