Last year, the Daytime Emmys returned to broadcast television by airing on CBS. Now, the eye network has announced that the kudos fest is not only returning this year, but the Daytime Emmys will also be broadcast on CBS for the next two years.
The 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will air on Friday, June 25 on CBS. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and CBS announced in a joint statement that the Daytime Emmys will be seen on CBS on Friday, June 25 and the awards will also be available for streaming live and on-demand on Paramount+ (previously known as CBS All Access).
This year’s broadcast on CBS marks the 15th time the awards have been on CBS, more than any other network. The current CBS lineup during the daytime hours includes soap operas The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless; two game shows, Let’s Make a Deal and The Price is Right; and the talk show The Talk.
