Actress Theodora Greece — also known amongst the aristocracy as Her Royal Highness Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark — has been a recurring presence on The Bold and the Beautiful since 2011.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Theodora Greece Ready To Wed
Now, she has announced her engagement and tentative wedding date, according to Daytime Confidential, meaning a real-life royal wedding is on the way for a member of the BB daytime family.
Theodora, 36, has been with her fiancé, Mark Kumar, since 2016. She made the initial announcement of their engagement back in November of 2018 through her official Instagram account but word now arrives that the blessed event will take place in May of 2020.
Although the Monarchy of Greece was formally abolished in 1974, the upcoming nuptials still promise to be a spectacle of excess and will no doubt include a bevy of Royal attendees, including Great Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, who was named Theodora’s godmother in 1983.
The Brown University graduate — who counts Queen Sofia of Spain as her kin — adopted the stage name Theodora Grace while still in college. Subsequently, she has appeared in a number of short and feature-length films including June, Blind Follow, The Gates of Hades, and Killer Assistant — the latter of which also starred Arianne Zucker (Nicole, Days of Our Lives).
Theodora made her first appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful back in December of 2011. Since then, she has recurred as Alison Montgomery, the personal secretary and all-around Girl Friday to Don Diamont’s character – “Dollar” Bill Spencer Jr.
Following her debut, Theodora entered an interesting pantheon of daytime stars with aristocratic ties. Charles Shaughnessy — a beloved soap opera veteran known for his eight-year stint on Days of Our Lives — is the current holder of the title Baron Shaughnessy. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
