Kelly Kruger, who recently returned to The Bold and the Beautiful as Forrester publicist Eva, is doing a little bit of PR work in real life as well and is letting fans know about an important cause.
The actress, still best known for playing Mac on The Young and the Restless, took to her Instagram account to tell people about Patched, a Montreal business run by a mother and daughter team that is raising money for a Canadian children’s hospital.
“Matching with my mini for a good cause!” the actress posted next to a video showing Kruger and her adorable daughter Everleigh in similar sweatshirts walking together. “We love our matching @__.patched.__ sweatshirts because the line was started by a friend I grew up with in Montreal and her 9-year-old daughter during the pandemic.”
The actress, who in real life is married to BB’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt), explained that all proceeds from sales will help benefit the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Additionally, the company is also employing people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic, so it’s helping many people at a time when help is needed.
“I couldn’t be more proud to support this small business,” Kruger said. “The clothes are so cute and cozy!”

In a video the company’s founders—mom Jenny and daughter Sofia—made recently, the duo explained that Patched was supporting the playground project at Montreal Children’s Hospital and the two were excited to be helping out the cause.
With Eva back to work, and doing a great job at Forrester, perhaps it’s time that she concentrates on her personal life a little and finds love. Since her real-life hubby’s character seems to be in a good place with Flo, Wyatt probably isn’t an option, but there are plenty of men that could use a feisty Eva in their lives.
