Soaps aren’t the only place where stories tend to repeat. The Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont is sending another son to play college football.
Don Diamont: Duke Dad
Fans who’ve followed the actor on social media know that Diamont’s (Bill) son Xander was the quarterback for the Indiana Hoosiers from 2014-16. Now, Diamont has shared that his son Luca, who attended Venice High School, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Duke University.
“It was a very special final day at Venice High for @lucadiamont, and our family!” Diamont posted. “Luca was honored with the Jacket of Excellence for his academic accomplishments, and strength of character. After the luncheon, we walked over to the Venice High Alumni House for his National Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony. Thank you to the @venicehighschool Alumni Association, and especially Elda Gasca for your efforts and execution! [Big heart] to all of you who came out to share this beautiful afternoon with us‼️”
Diamont, wife Cindy Ambuehl, and Luca visited Duke recently to check out the campus and the university’s football program. “What a[n] incredibly special weekend @dukefootball @dukeuniversity for @lucadiamont ‘s Official Visit,” Diamont posted. “Academic meetings, football meetings, photoshoots, laugh-filled lunches and dinners with great coaches, staff, and parents! Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the one and only Coach Cutcliffe, and everyone at Duke Football, and Duke University.”
Luca recently celebrated his 19th birthday, which his dad honored with an Instagram post. “HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY @lucadiamont !!! Not a bad birthday week! Heading to @dukefootball @dukeuniversity on Thursday for his OFFICIAL VISIT! Next week….. SIGNING DAY! He[re] we go BIRTHDAY BOY. @cindyambuehl and I are so happy for you, and proud of you.”
