Sally may be spending all her timing brooding over her breakup with Wyatt and focusing all her leftover energy in designing for Eric at Forrester Creations but actress Courtney Hope certainly has a reason to celebrate.
That’s because she was born on August 15, 1989, in Dallas, Texas, which means that she is turning the big 3-0 today! Aside from being a talented actress and fitness enthusiast, Hope is also a budding writer and aspiring director.
Hope, whose middle name is Ann, was raised in Plano, TX and as a young girl, she was a member of a local dance troupe that competed in a number of national dance competitions. She pursued a career as a performer and took any acting or modeling job that came her way.
When she was 13 years old, Hope managed to persuade her parents to allow her to quit public school and attended a performing arts school. At 15, she graduated and moved to Los Angeles for college which she began on her 16th birthday. A mere two years later she graduated with a degree in psychology.
While in L.A. Hope took the opportunity to hit the audition circuit and landed a number of guest roles on popular nighttime programs including Joan of Arcadia, Grey’s Anatomy, and CSI: Miami.
She scored a coveted role in the pilot for Simon Fuller’s series Born in the USA, which was an Americanized take on the British serial EastEnders. However, the option to produce more episodes was not exercised.
Aside from her role as the flamboyant and sassy Sally Spectra on the CBS daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope is also well known for her work in the video game world. Her voice and likeness can be seen in the very popular Control and Quantum Break.
SoapHub would like to wish Hope a very happy birthday and you can too by clicking on the Twitter link below. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
