The Bold and the Beautiful stars are following stay-at-home guidelines but that doesn’t mean the cast can’t assemble to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day! Thanks to the magic of video programs and editing, several actresses on the show who are moms in real-life reached out to fans with well-wishes.
The Bold and the Beautiful Moms
Original cast member Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) moderated a group video in which co-stars Heather Tom (Katie), Ashley Jones (Bridget), Karla Mosley (Maya), Jennifer Gareis (Donna), and their children said Happy Mother’s Day!
Gareis’s son Gavin and daughter Sophia introduced themselves, as did Tom’s son Zane (ex-Will). Next, Jones’s son Hayden, donning a fake red nose, said hi to viewers and then, Mosley introduced her little one, Aurora.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) also appears in the Mother’s Day video and shows her adorable son Rise. Not shown were Lang’s sons Jeremy and Julian and daughter Zoe (who recently became a mom herself again). The actresses wished all the moms out there a Happy Mother’s Day!
Over the years, a few of the actresses’ real-life children have played their on-screen off-spring. Lang’s son, Jeremy, played the role of little Eric Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, who later started going by “Rick.” Jeremy played the part when his TV dad Eric (John McCook) saved his son from a falling bookcase. Eric was temporarily blinded as a result, which made it more difficult for Brooke to extricate herself from the union.
Tom’s son Zane played her and Bill’s (Don Diamont) little boy Will for a while. As the story required for a Will who was a little bit older to play out a custody story, the part was recast with Finnegan George.
Which BB character will become a mother next? Viewers will find out when new episodes of the show are produced after social-distancing restrictions are lifted. In the meantime, BB is airing classic episodes in the show’s regular time slot. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
