The Bold And The Beautiful Star Scott Clifton Introduces The “Other” Liam

Dual roles are nothing new on soaps. And while The Bold And The Beautiful star Scott Clifton, who plays Liam, doesn’t have one — at the same time, as he recently explained on social media, he does!

Confused? Clifton took the recent battle Liam had with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) to explain how another performer steps in to play his part — he has a stunt double!

“This is Mickey Cassidy,” wrote Clifton in an Instagram post, posing alongside Cassidy in the wardrobe they each wore in the recent episode in which Liam and Thomas had a smackdown on the rooftop of Forrester Creations!

“For as long as I’ve been on #BoldandBeautiful, he’s been the ‘Liam‘ who’s [sic] face you never see—taking hits, falls, head-bashes, and the occasional kick in the nuts.

“Our stunt doubles work their asses off to make us look SO much cooler and tougher than we actually are. A day with a stunt is always a good day, because I know I’m going to learn something new. Thanks for all you do, brother!”

Cassidy may be called upon again should Thomas and Liam duke it out once more. And there’s every reason to think that can happen.

Thomas wasn’t the only one who kept the secret of baby Beth being alive from Liam and Hope (Annika Noelle), but he did use it to his advantage by conning Hope into becoming his bride. The Bold And The Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
