Daytime Emmy nominee Reign Edwards may not be part of The Bold and the Beautiful canvas right now as Nicole Avant Dominguez, but fans will be able to see her on-screen later this year.
Deadline is reporting that Edwards will be starring in Hulu’s Into the Dark, a 12-episode thriller series that will be released each month over the span of a year.
Each episode will be inspired by a holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) Other actors in the cast include Kerr Smith (ex-Ryder, As the World Turns) and Courtney Henggeler (Cobra Kai), Taj Speights (Grey’s Anatomy) and Antonio Raul Corbo (Broke).
The first installment is titled Pilgrim and will premiere on Friday, November 1. Inspired by true events, Pilgrim, tells the story of Ms. Anna Barker, who invites actors to her family’s Thanksgiving dinner with the hope that they’ll bond.
Reign Edwards joined BB back in 2015 to help build upon the Avant family and help tell Maya’s (Karla Mosley) transgender tale. She even became a surrogate mother for her sister. Things became more complicated for Nicole when she became attached to the baby and wanted to fight for custody. Eventually, she gave up on that idea.
The actress earned three consecutive nominations in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Drama Series at the Daytime Emmys starting in 2016. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
