Obba Babatundé won a Daytime Emmy for his role as Julius Avant on The Bold and the Beautiful, and now Babatundé is adding another accolade to his mantel!
The organization, Get Empowered All, which has offices in California and in New York, works to uplift, empower, and support children and adults of all ages and backgrounds by inspiring people to be their best selves.
The group recently bestowed upon Babatundé its Lifetime Achievement and Hero Award from the City of New York, Queensborough President!
“I am so humbled by this honor and expression of love,” Babatundé tweeted.
The BB performer knows what it’s like to be recognized for his hard work. In 1982, he was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in the Broadway production of Dreamgirls. Soap Hub joins Babatundé’s supporters in congratulating him on this special honor! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
