The tributes to Stan Lee, the late editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics and the co-creator of Spider-man, The Fantastic Four and many other heroes, are continuing. Now, The Bold and the Beautiful star Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) is touting the comic book legend!
Saint-Lawrence was on Guiding Light during a time when the soap partnered with Marvel Comics for some cross-promotion in 2006.
In a special episode GL referred to at the time as “Into the Light” episode, the character of Harley (Beth Ehlers) sustained an accident that resulted in her temporarily gaining superpowers.
As part of the promotion, some GL characters appeared in a Marvel Comic in a story written by Jim McCann and illustrated by penciler Alex Chung.
Saint-Lawrence took to Twitter to honor Lee and showed an image of himself from when his GL character, Remy Boudreau, appeared in the Marvel comic.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
I never had the honor of meeting Stan Lee, but when Guiding Light partnered with Marvel comics to create a book and special episode I got to at least touch his world. RIP #stanlee #guidinglight pic.twitter.com/dXSiLHehYq
