The Bold and the Beautiful Star Kiara Barnes Performs ‘I’m Just Fine’

The Bold and the Beautiful has a long history of incorporating music and song into its storytelling. Kiara Barnes joins the list of actors/singers on BB courtesy of her song I’m Just Fine, which she performs on the show today.

On Tuesday, BB’s Twitter account shared: “@KiaraBarnes_ performs her original song “I’m Just Fine” on today’s episode of @BandB_CBS! Only on @CBS #BoldandBeautiful #Brava.”

The account then offered an encore with a tweeted video — and a fun fact. “Fun Fact: Zoe’s got some serious talent. Check out an encore performance of this original song by @KiaraBarnes! Let’s give her a round of applause.”

I’m Just Fine isn’t the only song Barnes has recorded. She recently posted on Instagram that she’s been working on others. “Hello!☺️ I’ve been a little M.I.A lately working on some things…” the actress shared, “but came back to say I’ll be releasing a single this week. ‘COWBOY PRINCESS’ ✨👸🏽🐎💞 ft @theoriginalrhythm for the beat & @openthegaets for the final mix. Can’t wait to share with y’all soon!”

Throughout the 1990s, Macy (Bobbie Eakes) and Thorne (Jeff Trachta) belted out tunes on a regular basis. The pair sang together at a charity fundraiser, in the Forrester living room, and on stage at Bikini. When Trachta took a BB break to perform as Danny Zucko in Grease on Broadway, the show wrote in that Thorne was also going off to headline in the well-known musical.

Other singers on the show have included Usher, who played the short-term role of Raymond on BB. Dionne Warwick played herself on the half-hour series. She sang High Upon This Love, a short-lived closing credits theme song. Warwick also had a stint on the program as Lauren Fenmore’s (Tracey Bregman) friend. She provided a sounding board during the time Lauren was involved with Eric (John McCook).

BB’s known for matching songs to story so don’t be surprised if Zoe’s song somehow connects to her current tale. She’s being wooed by Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), but there are sparks between Zoe and Zende (Delon de Metz). Which guy will win Zoe’s heart? Stay tuned to find out.
