Viewers will be seeing more of Katrina Bowden now that Flo’s headed back to the screen on The Bold and the Beautiful, but they can also see more of her thanks to the release of her brand-new flick.
“My new movie #huntersmoon will be released 3/24/20,” the actress shared on Instagram. If you’re a fan of scary movies, this is one flick you’re definitely going to watch to check out!
“I’ve read a lot of horror scripts in my day,” Bowden added, “…and most aren’t very good. But this one really stood out – it’s different in a very cool way. I can’t tell you why of course…you’re going to have to see it for yourself.”
The film’s logline is: “A sheriff makes a strange discovery when he’s gets called to an orchard where three teenage sisters have been attacked by a band of young delinquents.”
Thomas Jane (Texas Rising) plays the Sheriff. There are other familiar faces in the cast, too, including Sean Patrick Flannery, who had a brief run on The Young and the Restless as Sam Gibson, a farmer, who shared screen time with Sharon (Sharon Case) in 2011. Jay Mohr (Saturday Night Live) plays Thomas Delaney. Bowden plays Juliet Delaney, one of the three sisters.
Bowden made her BB debut exactly one year ago today — January 14, 2019 — and became instantly integral to the show’s front-burner storyline (the kidnapping of baby Beth), which drove the show to the top spot in the demos when the story climaxed last summer.
It looked like Flo was headed to prison for being an accomplice after the fact, but Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) signed off on Flo taking a plea deal that resulted in zero jail time. She redeemed herself with the Logan clan after donating a kidney to her aunt Katie (Heather Tom). The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air time.
