The Bold and the Beautiful Star Katherine Kelly Lang Stars in a New Film

Katherine Kelly Lang recently hit the red carpet to promote a new movie in which she appears. The Bold and the Beautiful star works alongside one of soaps’ most popular actresses in the film.

“On the red carpet for ‘Stan The Man’ movie screening at Raleigh Studios,” Lang posted. “I had so much fun filming this romantic comedy and my character was a hoot!”

Lang plays a character named Elizabeth Morgan and Crystal Chappell (ex-Dani, BB; ex-Carly, Days of our Lives) plays Melody Dubois. The film’s plot tells the story of a man named Stan Mann (Steven Chase), who spends his life romancing, gambling, and drinking.

He lives in a 5-star hotel where the staff caters to his every whim. Known for his generosity, Stan gets mixed up in a casino scheme with Russian mobsters — and poor Stan loses everything!

Things get worse (or maybe better?) when Stan takes a bullet in a liquor store holdup that was meant for the store’s clerk, Kristi (Anne Leighton). Stan has a near-death experience in a hospital emergency room when a slightly resentful Angel gives Stan 30 days to change his ways and find redemption — and maybe find his one true love!

In addition to starring in the film, Chase co-wrote and directed the project. Soap Hub will share news as a distribution date becomes available.

Lang’s an original cast member of BB. The actress appeared in the show’s first episode and has played the part ever since. Currently, Brooke’s in for the fight of her life as she tries to keep Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Shauna (Denise Richards) from making her problems with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) even worse!
