The Bold and the Beautiful is a huge hit overseas, especially in Italy. As you may have seen on the web, quarantined citizens of Italy have been singing to one another from their balconies to stay connected. Actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is singing in solidarity.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood: Doing It For Italy

According to RTE News, which covers Irish and International News: “All cultural events have also been suspended, prompting some celebrities to start organizing online performances and museums to put virtual tours online. Another attempt to boost morale has now come in the form of impromptu music at people’s windows.”

Wood is paying homage to Italians by stepping out onto a balcony at a complex and singing, too. She hopes others will join in. Will they? Check out the Instagram posts below.

“Love that Americans are following suit with the Italians….” Wood posted. “… #singwithmeeeehhh #noididntbrushmyhair @ryanne_eliz #myheartiswithyouItaly #coronavirus #singingwithyoutoo.”

“Italy loves you!” @era_splendor, a self-described Italian drag Queen, posted, “this virus is affecting the whole world and here in Italy the situation is really hard, we are forced to stay at home so the support of the rest of the world is very important for all of us! here you sing too from your balcony ABBRACCIAME CHIU FORTE like us 🤣❤️”

While Los Angeles residents aren’t under quarantine, establishments and restaurants have closed (except for take-out). BB has halted production, but sources tell Soap Hub that the series has plenty of episodes so viewers won’t have to miss any of the action.

Steffy recently stood up for jilted bride Zoe (Kiara Barnes) at her aborted wedding to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Steffy aided Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) in their plan to expose Thomas as being obsessed with Hope. What’s next for Steffy? Stay tuned to find out! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.

Italians sing from balconies to beat virus blues | Italians are beating the social isolation imposed by the country’s coronavirus lockdown by taking to their windows and singing in unison. Videos of the phenomenon are racking up thousands of views online. Since Monday a series of decrees from the Italian government have drastically limited citizens’ movements. Vast swathes of the economy are shut down and people have been instructed to leave the house only when strictly necessary. All cultural events have also been suspended, prompting some celebrities to start organising online performances and museums to put virtual tours online. Another attempt to boost morale has now come in the form of impromptu music at people’s windows. #italy #coronavirus
